Student Success Week of May 5, 2008:
Max Mathews of White Bear lake was the medalist with a 71 at a Suburban East meet at North Oaks CC.
Katie Bolling of Irondale was medalist with a 40 leading her team to a first place finish in a North
Suburban meet at Columbia GC. Allison Kraft also of Irondale was second in the 54 player tournament with a 41.
Will Lage was medalist for Mounds Park Academy with a 39 in a dual meet at Hillcrest
CC.
Katie Bolling of Irondale and Emily Kvidera of Spring lake Park were co-medalists in a North Suburban
nine-team event at Victory Links GC. Irondale won the match by 11 strokes with a 162.
Bailey Wolfe of Blaine was medalist with a 42 in a three team meet at Sundance GC.
Mary Sweeney of Woodbury led her team to first place in a nine team meet at River Oaks GC earning medalist
honors with a 36.
Katie Bolling prevailed in a playoff to win individual honors in a 20 team meet at the Vintage in Staples.
She shared honors with two other golfers shooting a 2-over-par 74

Lizzy carl of Sibley was medalist with a 40 at a Classic Suburban four team meet leading her team to
first place.
Katie Bolling of Irondale led the Irondale girls to first place in a North Suburban 9-team meet at Bunker
Hills with a medalist score of 84.
Kyle Thul of Centennial is ranked the top boys golfer in the state by the St. Paul Pioneer Press
Katie Bolling of Irondale, Lizzy Carl of Sibley and Emily Kvidera of Spring lake Park are ranked third,
fifth and tenth respectively, in the state girls rankings by the Pioneer Press.
The Irondale girls team is ranked 6th in the state in the Pioneer Press.
AGT Student Success Week of April 21, 2008
Delaney Metcalf of Hill-Murray shot a 38 and was co-medalist leading his team to victory in a three
team meet at Hillcrest CC
Will Lage of Mounds Park Academy shot a two under par 34 at Hillcrest to medal in a two team meet with
Minnehaha Academy
Lizzy Carl was voted an Athlete of the Week by the Star Tribune.
Lizzy also shot 82 and was the medalist at the Stan Otness Invitational at Fountain Valley GC in Farmington.
Katie Bolling was the medalist in a North Suburban meet at Majestic Oaks with a 39 leading her irondale
team to a first place finish.
AGT Student Success Week of April 14, 2008
- Lizzy Carl from Henry Sibley finished with a 1 under 35 to win medalist honors in the eight-team
meet at Crystal Lake GC in Lakeville. It was the second time this week that she shot under par to take medalists honors.
- Emily Kvidera from Spring Lake Park shot 79 to win medalist honors in
the first tournament of the season at Monticello GC. Emily was also medalist at North Branch GC with a 40. Emily
was recently featured as athlete of the week on KARE 11.
- Bailey Wolfe from Blaine was medalist as she shot a 40 at The Links at Northfork to win
a dual meet with Anoka.
- Taylor Auman from Coon Rapids shot a 39 to win medalist honors at Edinburgh GC.
- Kyle Thul from Centennial shot a 2 over 110 to earn medalist honors in the 27 hole event at Bunker Hills.
- Joe Sampair of Hill-Murray won medalist honors with a 39 in a tri-meet at Southview CC.
- The Irondale girls team finished second with a 185 in a North Suburban meet at North Branch GC.
AGT FALL 2007 CLASSIC WINNERS:
1st place: Kyle Thule (Centennial)
2nd place: Jake Larson (Centennial)
1st place: Katie Bolling (Irondale)
2nd place: Emily Kvidera (Spring Lake Park)
Hillary Gerster won the 2007 Westfield Junior PGA Championship shooting a 77 at Baker National
and a 72 at Rush Creek.
Hillary Gerster and her high school golf coach, John Anderson were
runners up in the 2007 MGA Mixed tournament in Forest Hills. There was a 3 team playoff for first place.
Emily Kvidera finished second with a 71 and Lizzy Carl finished third with
a 76 at the Twin Cities Junior Championship at Victory Links.
Ryan Hanson from Forest Lake shot a 73 on 6/22/07 at Goodrich to win his first Jr PGA
tournament. He defeated Derek Smith in a playoff.
Max Mathews from White Bear Lake shot a 74 at Oneka Ridge on 7/2 07 to win a Jr PGA tournament.
